Acceptance of Terms

By engaging with HOTGAMES, the premier gaming platform operated by BURGAS Ventures Limited, registered in Zambia under number 120230055956 and licensed under the Lotteries Act CAP 163 with license number 0000077, you are agreeing to these Terms. If any part of these Terms is not acceptable, please cease all use of the platform. Please ensure you understand all terms before using HOTGAMES. Continued use of the platform signifies ongoing acceptance of these terms, including any updates.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at our discretion. Changes may not always be signposted; therefore, we encourage you to review these Terms regularly. All modifications are effective immediately upon posting, regardless of whether they have been communicated directly.

Definitions

  • Account: Your registered profile on HOTGAMES.
  • Applicable Law: The Lotteries Act CAP 163 and other laws governing these Terms in Zambia.
  • Bonus Abuse: The act of a user deliberately exploiting or manipulating bonus offerings of HOTGAMES to gain an unfair advantage. This typically involves behaviors such as creating multiple accounts, colluding with other players, or using betting strategies that are prohibited by the platform’s terms. Bonus abuse is strictly against the rules and is monitored by HOTGAMES to ensure fair play and integrity of the gaming environment.
  • Games: Lottery and betting activities provided by HOTGAMES, regulated under the Lotteries Control Board.
  • User/Player: You, the holder of an Account on HOTGAMES.
  • Draw: A scheduled event conducted under the oversight of the Lotteries Control Board where lottery winners are determined.
  • Prize: The winnings awarded for successful game participation, as authorized by the Lotteries Control Board.
  • Lottery Central System: The backend framework managing lottery operations, compliant with the Lotteries Act CAP 163.
  • Transaction History: A log of your financial transactions on HOTGAMES.
  • Withdrawal: The process of transferring funds from your HOTGAMES Account to your personal account, under the regulations of the Lotteries Control Board.
  • Dormant Account: An account that has had no user-initiated activity for a specified period, as defined by HOTGAMES’s policies.
  • Suspension: Temporary halting of access to the account and services due to alleged breach of terms or suspicious activity.
  • Closure: Permanent disabling of access to the account and services typically following a breach of terms or upon user request.
  • Fraudulent Activity: Any illegal act or attempt to deceive, including but not limited to money laundering, use of stolen credit cards, and manipulation of games or account data.
  • Data Security: Measures and protocols employed by HOTGAMES to protect user data and transactional information from unauthorized access or theft.

Registration and Account Integrity

One Account per User is permitted on HOTGAMES. Accounts must contain accurate, up-to-date personal details. You are responsible for the security of your Account credentials. Providing false information may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account. For lost credentials, please contact support immediately.

User Conduct

You agree to use the platform lawfully and respectfully, uphold the operational integrity of the platform, and keep your Account details current. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, fraudulent activity, misuse of the platform, and harassment of other users.

Penalty for Bonus Abuse:

Should a user be found engaging in bonus abuse, HOTGAMES reserves the right to enact penalties. These may include the forfeiture of any bonuses and associated winnings, suspension of the involved accounts, and/or permanent banishment from the platform. The specific penalties will be in accordance with the severity and nature of the abuse, as determined by HOTGAMES’s investigative procedures and in compliance with applicable laws. Users are encouraged to read and understand all bonus terms to avoid unintentional abuse.

Financial Engagement

Transactions must be conducted within the financial limits set by HOTGAMES, adhering to the guidelines of the Lotteries Control Board. In the case of disputed transactions, please contact our support team. We will investigate and resolve any issues in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Inactivity and Dormancy

HOTGAMES, in compliance with the Lotteries Act CAP 163, will address dormant accounts and the forfeiture of their funds. Accounts with no activity for a period of [specific time] will be considered dormant. Users may reactivate dormant accounts and reclaim funds by contacting support.

Suspension and Closure of Accounts

Accounts in breach of these Terms face suspension or closure, with potential forfeiture of funds. Specific breaches leading to suspension or closure include fraudulent activity, bonus abuse, multiple accounts, and breach of user conduct. A detailed appeals process is available through our support team.

Lottery and Gaming Services

Services are provided in accordance with the license issued by the Lotteries Control Board and under the Lotteries Act CAP 163. The odds of winning, prize claiming process, and winner selection methods are detailed in the Game Rules section.

Our lottery utilizes a state-of-the-art Random Number Generator (RNG) certified by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) to ensure fair and unbiased results. You can trust in the integrity and transparency of our draw process.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content and technology on the HOTGAMES platform are the property of BURGAS Ventures Limited or its licensors.

Interactions with Third Parties

HOTGAMES accepts no responsibility for third-party websites or services linked from the platform. Users should exercise caution and review the security and privacy policies of third-party websites before engaging.

Disclaimers

HOTGAMES and its affiliates are not liable for losses that are not a direct result of a breach of these Terms. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and we are not liable for indirect incidental damages.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through negotiation or within the Zambian legal framework. If unresolved, disputes will be addressed through arbitration or the legal system in Zambia.

Fraud and Security

We actively monitor for fraudulent activity. Suspicious activities will be investigated and may lead to suspension or legal action. We commit to maintaining robust data security measures to protect your personal and transactional information.

General Agreement

The Terms, Privacy Policy, and game rules constitute the full agreement between you and HOTGAMES.

Claim Process for Prizes

For the main prizes such as the Supa Lotto main prize of ZMW 25,000,000, the claim process is as follows:

  1. Notification:

If you hold a winning entry in a lottery contest hosted on this site, you must promptly notify us via email at [email protected]. In your notification, please include the following details:

  1. Draw Date
  2. Entry ID Number
  3. Entry Details (numbers picked)
  4. Your Phone Number
  5. Verification:

Upon receiving your notification, we will verify your entry against our system records to confirm it is valid and matches the winning criteria for the contest.

  1. Winner Information:

Once your win is verified, we will request the following information from you:

  1. Full Name
  2. Your Address
  3. Copy of a Government-Issued Identification (passport, driver’s license, etc.)
  4. We will also request you to sign a “Winner’s Affidavit” which we will supply to you.
  5. Claim Processing:

After receiving your information, we will submit your claim to our prize insurance underwriters and/or hedging partners for final processing and payment. This process typically takes between 5 to 20 business days, but may occasionally be longer due to holidays or other circumstances.

  1. Payment:

In most cases, payment of your winnings will be deposited directly into your designated bank account. We will notify you once payment has been initiated. The payment is usually made latest by the 15th day.

Important Notes:

  • Timeliness: It’s important to submit your claim information promptly to avoid any delays in processing. Prizes that are not claimed within 6 months from the time of winning are considered forfeited.
  • Accuracy: Please ensure all information provided is accurate and complete. Inaccurate or incomplete information could delay or invalidate your claim.
  • Confidentiality: All personal information provided as part of the claim process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

For all other winnings, withdrawals will be processed and disbursed to the player’s mobile money wallet upon withdrawal request made by the player. Withdrawal requests below ZMW 4,000 will be automatically disbursed to the player’s mobile wallet while for withdrawal requests that are equal to or above ZMW 4,000 will be subject to internal approval before being disbursed to the player’s mobile wallet and may require KYC verification of the player.

Player accounts that have been inactive for a period of one year or more and have winnings on them, the winnings shall be considered forfeited.
